How are you trying to wake it up? Hit the power button. If that doesn't do anything, unplug the cord and battery, leave them out for 30 seconds, put them back in, and try to start it. Try that and then get back with us.

Your problem is that it's an ACER
The best Screen name is one that has no Google matches

Un-plug it and let the battery drain until the laptop is completely shut off.
Then plug the power back in and turn it on.
Then plug the power back in and turn it on.

Try turning it on without the battery (with the AC adapter, of course). The battery could have crapped and isn't allowing it to boot.
Without more info, there isn't much more we can tell you. Was it doing anything funny before it "died"? Did you make any changes to it?

Maybe something fried or the BIOS just crapped out.
If anything it would best be suggested calling ACER about this issue. If this was a manufacturing issue and not accidental loss (Like dropping it) the warranty should certainly cover it.
I'd rule out the hard drive being an issue, because your screen would have the BIOS report of "no boot device found."
Second it is probably not an issue with the battery, unless it fried it......because the chips inside of laptop batteries are just for safe charging. Unless they designed smart chips in it like Sony's PSP or JVC camcorders.
Or it is possible that the power adapter port has jiggled loose and has shorted something; happened to a friend once.

Re: HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!! MY ACER laptop NO!!!!!!!
I fixed an Aspire that did this.
All you need to do is to reflash the BIOS - you download a flash ROM file onto a USB stick, stick it in, boot up, and hopefully a few minutes later you should be good to go.
