Broken network hose.

Post by Grandmasterjimmy » Sun Sep 13, 2009 11:21 am

Lately I've been noticing my network has been slower than usual. I went downstairs to find that my network hose has been leaking data all over the floor. I sealed the leak with a roll of duct tape, but I'm not sure how long that's going to last. Any ideas would be nice.

Edit: I went back down and my other computer had a memory leak, and now my carpet is all wet. Hopefully nothing got on anything in the case.

NO! DON'T USE DUCT TAPE! You must use electrical tape in these situations to hold the electrons in.
For the computer with a memory leak, just pull the plug on the poor thing. :(

Yeah, I think duct tape actually does conduct, doesn't it?

Patch that sucker up before you lose all your Internet fluid.

I had this happen when I was on vacation once - not only did it get on EVERYTHING, you should have seen the intertube bill that month!

Alright, so I got everything sorted out. I got a new network hose, some more internet fluid, and my carpet dried out fine. So thanks for the help.
