About this game...

Every so often I look on here and see what's up. It is an admirable effort!

However the plotline and such really has next to nothing to do with the real me. I don't know if it really represents anything in this state.

If you really want to make a cool game, and have it be about me, you need some sort of "main concept" Figure out something, some sort of mission, I'd go on for some reason and make that the thrust of the game.

It sounds like you're still working on assets and the engine, the plot isn't really worked in quite yet, correct? If you really want something that's accurate, and funny, perhaps I should come up with it.

Regardless, I am flattered you'd make such a project, although it is a bit embarassing when my friends bring it up.

It does kind of mke sense though. It's kind of like saying, we have a game about us forum-goers, but ben happens to be in it.

Or was that what you were going for?

Ben, you're right, I'm still getting the engine done as well as the game assets, but I'm almost getting to the point that I need some sort of plotline to see what I need to model next / incorporate features into the engine.

Seeing as the game's about you, no one could know more about you then you yourself do. I'd love it if you could come up with a game goal, even if it's vague, as long as it gives us something to go from.

Sometime in the future I'll be redoing the character models from scratch. I've recognized quite a few errors with the models, and if Ben wants to supply some head/face textures that would be great.

*shrug* I didn't even know there was a plotline yet. Can't see how anyone could complain.

How's that room coming along, marshall? :P

Ben's right...and he HAS had experience in plot, given his movies. ^^

His use of the cute power of kittens was scary, but quite effective and well wielded. ^^
Warranty-Voiding fun!

Indeed, however if he'd used puppies I think the scene would have been a bit funnier. Still, the best scene in that movie for sure.

Well SOMEONE'S being egocentric  ! Just kidding. But yes, that's probably a better idea than just whipping up some random plot. Trouble is, could you do something like this in a timely manner? I mean, let's face it; you're a VERY busy man, and a full-fledged plotline for a game takes a while to write. Or are you just going to provide us with a vague storyline? If you did that, though, we really wouldn't be expressing the true essence that is "Ben"...
