Hmm, it was pretty slow last year, that's a valid point. I wonder how well it would work with my WRT54g plus dual cantennas...

I say you all buy halo 2 for PC and we can LAN with that, or we could play the XBOX version... (I still think Halo 2 is superior to all subsequent sequels)

LOLHalo.

I think we should stick with non-internet-based games, it'd just be easier. Starcraft (1) and Episode I Racer are on the docket, any other suggestions?

I could bring my NES and Sega Genesis along with their 4-player thingies for some awesome old school 4-player action!

We could rock out to the likes of: Mega-Bomber man (4 player ffa!), General Chaos (2v2 awesomeness!), WORLD CUP (2v2 Ultra awesomeness!), as well as other great games like the Super Mario Bros and Street Fighter II!

I don't know about anyone else, but I thought we were talking Episode 1 Racer for PC. I own Counterstrike on Steam, but I've never played it. We could throw that in the mix.

 I might not be able to make it this year, but I'm hoping I can, it's the $200 round trip just for gas that's the issue. If I do go though I hope to have a new portable done by then.

Well that was just thinking about it, actually calculating it at least $160.

Our best working car is a van that maybe gets around 20 miles per gallon.

540 miles to brookfield WI, / 20 mpg = 27 gallons of gas

27 gallons x $3 pergallon = $81

$81 x 2 for trip both ways, about $162 for gas alone.

Plus hotel for at least 2 nights maybe $160 if we stay at the Sheraton.

So about $300 for the trip not including food, if I want to go it's got to come mostly out of my pocket. I only make about $200 a month with my part time job, and I want at least $100 to buy stuff at mgc, it's 10 times better than ebay after all.

So basically I'm going to start saving now if I get the ok from parents, that of course means my projects are at a slow pace now with no money.

BUT DANGIT MGC IS WORTH IT!
