U6: Unknown manufacturer - "U7849" "6Q19" (Likely Audio DAC chip, due to proximity to U7 Speaker amp, and lack of another chip to perform this function - 16 pin tsop)
U7: Rohm BH7824FVM - "H78" "2 4" "HN" (audio driver (speaker AMP) for mobile telephone - MSOP-8)

Other interesting things:
Crystal Y1, likely 24MHz
CCD Camera at the front of the PCB (8 pins, no distinguishing characteristics.)
Rumble motor off-board via wires (labeled "SEM 6923FB")
Large electrolytic capacitor (3300uF)
Connector at the base for nunchuk, classic, etc.. (6 pins)

PCB is certainly more than 2 layers - probably 4 layer.
PCB has some text possibly marking the revision - "MDK 332V-0" followed by a small "N"
There are 3 fuses on the "top" of the PCB. (one larger one, and 2 smaller ones)
U1 and U2 are piddley little logic/transistor/voltage regulator ICs, U1 is 4 pins, U2 is 5 pins, and their captions are essentially meaningless.

Interestingly enough, the 2 analog sticks are mounted in opposite orientations...
The logic/control chip is roughly identical to the one on the nunchuck, the text only differs by 2 digits. ("629KM" instead of "633KM")

Although more pricey, would it be more efficient to use a wii classic controller to construct the buttons (etc) in GCP? Just a thought...
