huh, never heard of that place.

polycase.com is reliable though, many people have used their cases before.

ty so I checked out the site and I can't really find anything that would make a good case for a gamecube portable... Oh well at least I know that it is an option!

If you can't figure that out you shouldn't be building a gamecube portable.

errrm, probably not. You might be able to hook it up, but that screen looks intec, so it's best to stay away from them. Try a zenith screen or psone screen.

What he's trying to say is that intec screens are huge, power hungry, and their resolution sucks. Everything about them sucks, so just stay away from them.

thx for the tip. I dont want a PS1 screen tho, its to big for the design im shooting for, Id like a screen small, around Gameboy Adv. SP screen size. DS screen size at the largest. If you kno of any small screen options, let me know thx.

and yes tht screen was intec, lol it said tht on the Amazon site duh

pocket TVs have small screens. So do hip gear controller screens. Hip gear screens are better than pocket TVs though.

the hip gear screens sure are nice, but DANG they are expensive! I just don't get why the PS1 screens are so cheap compared to other screens :? but i really dont want to use a PS1 screen, so Im just ganna keep looking...

I found a sorta cheap, small Intec screen (shown below). I like its size, is it worth getting???

okay thx, Ill prolly go with that, but one last glance on the web shows me a little game machine with a 2.5" LCD screen, 960p X 240p

-----KASAR :) , sorry I forgot to say, NICE JOB, this guide is a good start for beginners----

I've ordered the PS2 game screen, hopefully it works with all the video modes of the GC...
Also, I am eventually going to post my overall plans for my GC portable to get some feedback from the pros  just a lil heads up.

Can I replace one of the motors in the disc drive with a smaller one (from my CD player). I am talking about replacing the motor that spins the cogs to make the laser scan up down along the disc.
