Some things have been unclear with the LED mod.

If your LEDs are in series, you only need one resistor.

If they are in parallel, each of them needs their own resistor.

10ohms is too low, you should use around 33ohms.

Sorry to post in such an old thread, but...

Is it better to wire them in parallel or series? Does it matter?

I believe it has to be in parrallel because in series the voltages combine and you would need like 12v for 4. I think. :?

Digikey part no. for a new LED I tried with the mod. The color's less blue, brighter, and the LEDs are $1.50 cheaper each than the one Ben recommends.

As always use a 33ohm resistor in series with each LED.
