Replacing AAs with a 3.7v Li-Ion

Post by batteries » Mon Apr 04, 2011 11:22 pm

I have many devices where I would love to replace the AAs or AAAs with a rechargeable 3.7v (or similar voltage) Li-ion battery. I have two extra 3.7v Li-ion batteries meant for a GBA SP. I know I need a protection circuit for charging and discharging but specifically which protection circuit?

Will this work http://www.batteryjunction.com/prcimopcbfor.html ?

How exactly do I wire this up?

Thanks for the help :D
