Fixing DMG Cart (Rockman World 2)

Hiya!
Well, I don't know if this is the right forum to ask this, but if it isn't, just tell me, and I'll move it!
Yesterday, I got a Gameboy cart from a friend. It's MegaMan 2 (also know as Rockman World 2).
I popped it into my DMG, and the thing just won't boot.
There are three things that can happen:

1.- The Nintendo logo doesn't appears, the DMG acts as if no cart was inserted.
2.- The Nintendo logo appears, but horribly distorted and glitched.
3.- The Nintendo logo appears, complete, but still the game doesn't boot.

So, it possible to repair the cart?
I opened it, and, apparently, there's nothing wrong with the circuit.
I don't know if the resistors are working (there are 2 of those), but, if they aren't, could that be the reason of the problem?
I tried cleaning it with a thin cloth, but no results.
I'm afraid of using Alcohol, Thinner, or anything else, since I'm not sure If I can screw up the screwed up cart
Does someone know if this can be fixed (and how could it be done)?
Thanks in advance.

Fixing DMG Cart (Rockman World 2)

It looks to me that at the bottom where pins are the traces have small bits that look like the traces have been cut.

I'd say it looks more like they were worn through rather than cut (perhaps the front half of the cart shell was rubbing there?), but it's all the same result.

You might be able to get away with using a conductive pen to fix it, otherwise you'll have to jumper across the damaged traces with small wires.

However you fix it, you'll want to prevent it from happening again. A piece of tape across that part might work, or if that doesn't work, maybe remove the offending bit of the shell with a dremel?
