Editing the contents of a cartridge?

Post by iHackedit » Wed Jan 05, 2011 5:31 pm

Is there a way to add different things into a game without like using a rom, say I'm playing pkmn emerald and can't get past a hard bit, is there a way to see the contents of the game and then remove the things that's hard or give yourself uber pkmn?

Action replays can give you the "uber pokemon".

Yeah I know but is there some thing that can connect a game cartridge to your computer to edit it with software?

Google is your friend. GBA ROM images are not rewritable to your regular cart. Don't waste your time editing your save, either buy an Action replay or just play the game and level up. <_< Regular GBA cartridges can be written to once, at the factory where they are produced. The save is a tiny piece of memory independent of that, and if you have a Nintendo DS and a flashcart it is possible to rip the save and edit it if you have the software.
