The d pad is dysfunctional (my fault;will fix)
And the nintendo ds startup sound is high pitched.
The ds sometimes shorts out for half a second. (ribbon problem)
The screen also flickers sometimes. I would appreciate some help. Will post video soon

I would take apart the system and go over the joints with a soldering iron and disconnect the screens and blow out dust from connection and re-connect the ribbons and the flickering and one-second-time-outs should be cured.

lolwhut? Enjoy your fried DS.

@wcability109- Did you take it apart or drop it? Double check all your ribbon cable connections, even if you think they are all good. Make sure there aren't any tears or bad kinks in the cables.
