Yes, and very decently priced as well. If I'm not mistaken, I believe Ben's mentioned somewhere that he uses McMaster all the time also. They have pretty much everything you need as far as hardware goes. They even have those nylon spacers that Ben talks about in his book; the ones you can use as screw posts and such.

I love the brass screws personally. Complement the wood perfectly.

Let's hope it doesn't ever get covered in Body spray, and over heat.. Anyway Awesome so far. Looks Kickass. what are you planning to do for buttons? Make them out of wood too? That'd be killer!

Looks sleek so far. If you can only get brass screws, how about making a small dome top out of bondo to go on top of the screw, then painting the bondo to a similar colour to the wood? Such a small point but would make quite a difference, IMO. Would make it look similar to the rubber domes on the top of the PSOne screen which conceal two screws inside.

Entirely personal choice if you like screws visible or not, point is there are ways to conceal them if preferred.

I am keeping the Brass. I do not want to cover them encase the DS has to be disassembled later.

If they were countersunk a little more, you could pop in some wood cutouts to cover. It would look good, and you could remove them pretty easily.
It seems like I'm preaching to the choir though. I'm sure you thought of all of this. Keep the brass, they look fine.

Impossible. Anymore countersink and the screws would have nothing to hold the front panel on. After sanding the panels are about 3/64" thick.
