Hey Triton, this thing is looking DAMN good! I can't wait to see it finished (sorry for the lack in communication, but I've been having Internet troubles lately). As for MGC, I might not be able to make it, due to some recent developments..I'll tell you about those when I get some time.
Check out my PSP lot (PSP 1001, 2 batteries, Final Fantasy VII: CC, Madden '09, car charger, wall charger, carrying case) on ebay!

I will be interested to see how this comes out. Expecting good things from you! :D

I will be doing another GP2x mod in due course too, but other projects to do in meantime!! :D

BTW - are you going to get the Wiz or Pandora, out of interest? I'm undecided and will probably leave it for a while anyway. Interested to hear your view on these other systems.

i wouldnt rule out me getting a wiz at some point in the future. i dont much care for the pandora tho. 330$ is in the pricerange of netbooks and PDAs a bit much for a handheld game device IMO

Seriously, get a Pandora. It's much more awesome, plus it's produced by a smaller company and therefore less evil. Also you know how gph is many many miles away from "us" (that includes europe and america). Support your own country!

woo small but notable update for today, sorry no pics yet!

todays progress was a bit more filling on the side and edges to clean up the lines a tad more and the big deal of the day is i finally have the USB port section in place! its going to take a bit more work to have something decent to show off tho as there are still some ugly gaps to work out. put too much acetone in the liquid ABS so it was a bit too runny tonight to do a whole lot beyond getting the part fused in place and some spot filling. the next few days will consist of a boatload more plastic work and getting the battery ordered so i can start on that portion of the case! the only major filling left to do is the battery hump area and making a new hole for the headphone jack relocation and S-video port

pictures to come in a few days probably! and maybe ill get off my ass and make a lightbox so i can have some nice pics :D

I built my cheapass lightbox today out of parchment paper, a cardboard box and some large sheets of paper i had, will improve it slightly later on. used some old photography lamps i had and set my white balance on the camera properly and all i can say is WOW
i felt like doing a test fit and photoshoot
