I'm interested in one, but the price is a bit steep for what I can afford. Looks intriguing.

Well, it's actually pretty damn cheap compared to what it gives. 800x480 touch screen, 600Mhz etc. etc.

True. Very true. I was surprised to see it was that low. Be nice to drop the ancient Palm M125 for one. Maybe I can budget for it.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

I might get one, but I'll wait to see what software comes out for it. I'm not really into games anymore, but if it has the software to make it into a laptop replacement/media player then I might get one. I'm not expecting it to be super fast, just about the same capabilities as a 600MHz laptop.

Still not sure, but I'm leaning towards no. Interesting specs, but I can't see purchasing it for just emulation. If it evolves into a more useful device --a better keyboard, more keys for computer style interface, than the prototype has would help greatly-- I might get it.

MIDs are more what I'm looking for, but it looks like those will have the same pricing troubles as the MS UMPC concept. x86 compatibility in a handheld would be killer, even the gaming aspects are more tempting to me. Even with Linux on a MID, you'd be able to run a fair number of newer games, that don't have source out. UT99 would be a fun quick game on a handheld.

Interesting. Why is this competing with your EEE purchase? I can see considering this over a PSP, DS, or Nokia Tablet, but the EEE is a mini-notebook, not a handheld.

I might get 1 but It depends on the homebrew. If it can play N64 at full speed I'd buy it for that alone!

GoldenFranko, the chances of that happening are intensely unlikely.

Was going to sell my tablet and pick up the eeePC and mod it to be a smaller tablet, with this I'd keep my tablet and just use the open pandora as a surfing computer/notebook.
