i am building an audio amp and everything is working besides the pot.
for some reason the 10k pot (which reads 8.24k on my multimeter) doesn't adjust the sound throughout a full turn but rather in a 1/8 to 1/4 turn.
example: 0 sound is turned all the way to the left, then max sound is a 1/8 turn then the sound gets distorted and throughout the rest of the turn there is no sound.
is there such thing as a 1/4 turn pot or something in which max resistance is reached within a 1/4 turn or is the one im using broken?
