GameGear interference

Post by com64 » Mon Nov 18, 2013 3:05 pm

I've been experiencing some interference issues with a Game Gear case mod (in a Genesis model 2 case). Normally, the GameGear is shielded by some sort of conductive layer of paint on the inside of the case. However, I can't fit the Genesis shielding inside with the GameGear boards without shorting something out and I don't have any good cutting tools. The system often hangs or the video becomes glitchy; I've tried using connecting only the bottom part of the Genesis shielding, but it only works to a degree.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Finally: the surface!
