2 differnet voltages?

Hey, sorry if this is too simple of a question, but i would like to know how to provide 2 different voltages from one power source.I'm putting together a portable Jakks 10 in 1 with a screen that has a higher voltage than the console needs. How would i do this?

try using capacitors, I don't know specifically what kind to get, but, I I know they can lower voltages.

First of all check to make sure the screen can't run on a lower voltage. Most can, if so then problem solved.

Second it is fairly simple to lower voltage with voltage regulators. There are standard linear regulators , cheap and easy but they get hot. Or switching regulators, require caps/resistors for the proper voltage but stay cool.

Should run just fine at 9v and most likely 7.4v and "maybe" 5v
