how to solder laptop screen wires to wii's analog wires?

i am planning to put my wii in an old laptop and would like to use the screen as my monitor for the wii. I want to know if it is even possible to solder the wires to each other to make it work or if that is impossible is ther ean alternative cheap solution that does not require a pc to record my wii's screen.
