Trying to fix a Tomee NES USB controller's Dpad

Post by NEO117 » Wed Jul 27, 2011 10:38 pm

I bought this controller and I'm very happy with it except for one thing: The D-pad isn't 100% precise. For example, if I press down sometimes that's down/left or down/right. I've noticed that the D-pad rests on a circular base which pretty much works as an axis. I was wondering if by slightly scrubbing it, this could get solved or if there's something else I could do.

Bear in mind that I do not live in the US/EU/CA so it's VERY hard for me to import in the first place, so if you could have, by any chance, a solution that does not require me to go buy another D-Pad or the little "squishy pads" below the buttons (I don't know what they're called... eng isn't my first language, sorry) then all the better.

I'll leave some pictures if it helps. Thanks a lot in advance.
