I have been using a $10 Radio Shack Soldering Iron for a long time now. It is difficult to solder small things and sometimes I can't desolder because its wattage isn't high enough. I'm willing to shell out a good amount for a nice Soldering Iron or Station. It will be used exclusively for electronics, more specifically video game consoles/items.
ALSO, looking to get a good multimeter, pretty much going to be used for testing stuff on video game consoles, so whats a good one? I bought a cheap one from Harbor Freights that doesn't even have a continuity test on it.. So yeah.. not usable for me.. :/
Any recommendations, comments advice welcome. Thanks.
Good Soldering Iron/Station & Multimeter?

I'm not sure about the iron. I've always used the $10 RadioShack one. I bought an extra tip that I ground down to a very fine point, and use that one when I'm doing fine soldering.
But, if you'll give RadioShack another chance, their $35 digital multimeter is pretty good. It's lacking a couple features like a transistor tester, but it serves me well.
