HeartBeat recorder...

Post by MasterPrime » Sun Sep 05, 2010 10:00 pm

So, a special birthday is coming up soon. what I want to do is get her a new phone.

I'm trying to find a cheap way to record my heartbeat to a digital format (WAV, MP3, OGG, etc...) so I can turn it into the ringtone on the phone. The hospital told me I'd have to pay ridiculous amounts for a 30 second recording. a stethoscope and PC microphone with audacity doesn't give me a clear recording no matter what I do.

any ideas?

Sync and superimpose/mix multiple recordings.

it's too grainy. I'd like something clear like the fetal heart monitors. but I haven't been able to find one that actually records sound.

You could just download the sound of someone else's heart and say its yours.
