I am making a portable GameCube but I have ran into a wall I have no clue on what kind of rechargeable battery I should use.I look all over the internet and i have read about the batteries that others have used but they say it last from 45mins to an hour and a half.I was hoping that some one could help me find a battery or batteries that at least last two hours or more.
Screen:
Audiovox model no.: EX50
Power source:
DC 9V
Screen AC Adaptor:
Input: 120VAC 60Hz 13W
Output: 9VDC 800mA
GameCube:
Rating: DC 12V 39W
GameCube AC Adapter:
Input: AC 120V 48W 60Hz
Output: DC 12V 3.25A
I am hoping that i can use just the GameCubes power supply to charge the system.
I'm also doing a Portable N64 at the same time (different systems not in the same one) and the same issue is with the rechargeable batteries. I would like again to have something that will last at least two hours.
Same Screen as the other one.
Screen:
Audiovox model no.: EX50
Power source:
DC 9V
Screen AC Adaptor:
Input: 120VAC 60Hz 13W
Output: 9VDC 800mA
N64:
Rating: 19W
N64 AC Power Supply:
Input: 120V 26W 60Hz
Output: DC 3.3V 2.7A
: DC 12V 0.8A
and again I would like to be able to use the N64 Power Supply to charge the system.
Thank you to everyone how helps me.

Re: Portable GameCube and N64
If you use Li-po's or Li-ions you can't use the Gamecube or N64 power adapter to charge them. You will need a smart charger and a protection circuit.

Check the forums and links. There's an entire topic devoted to batteries.
