Do I need more than one 7805 regulator?

I want to power my 5v screen, 5v audio amp, and 5v snes with one 7805 regulator. Is this possible without blowing things up or do I need separate regulators? And how would this be accomplished?

You can do it with one if all of those components don't suck more than 1A.

It's highly inefficient, however.

Just get a Switching Regulator that output 1.5A+ and set it to output 5v.
