XBox 360 Controller Questions

Post by spud1129 » Tue Nov 10, 2009 11:06 pm

Guys:

While playing my xbox360, a few weird things happen with my controller...I'm sitting about 4 feet in front of my TV.

1) Every 3 or 4 seconds the ring starts flashing and doesn't stop for a few minutes. I thought it was the controller not syncing with the XBox so I re-synced it and it hasn't stopped yet.

2) The battery pack only lasts for about 10 hours and then dies. It's a microsoft brand pack. Any ideas?

3) I also have a charger station, and only the microsoft brand packs will charge, when I plug the others in...they aren't recognized. Weird...

Would welcome any suggestions, as I am very frustrated!

Thanks!

it'll flash when it's almost dead and when it gets to halfway.

Yes, but batteries are "fully" charged (based on charger light) and I usually run them out all the way before I charge them again.

How old is your battery pack?

Yes, the battery pack ages with time and charges/discharges. They eventually wear out, which may be your problem.
