Post by woox » Sun Jul 06, 2008 12:17 pm

I am wokring on my laptop and I was wondering for internal power supply where do I screw in the ground wire? Should I screw it into the metal frame of the mother board it self? or do I screw it into the acrylic case/

Where is it supposed to go?

He's right. We need to see your motherboard to be able to tell you where it's safe to ground something.

Its the bottom right area (where the power comes in from):

A PS3 laptop  , Good luck :D !

Any of the screws holes should work fine as I'm sure that whole edge of the metal thing is touching the grounding strip round the edge of the MB

Yeah it touching the edge so the screw holes will work as long as the metal shielding thing is still attached if not just solder straight onto the grounding strip.
