What compoents would you need to make some thing wireless?

I want to do that now, and I so happen to have a FM transmitter I got from Bestbuy when they made a price error on their FM transmitters :lol:

But the broadcasting signal is pathetic (I will barely move it in the car, and I lose signal) I am thinking about taking the Antenna from a POS linksys Wireless-B router and attaching it to it.

how would I be able to find the right FM frequency?

You'd either have to obtain acces to a specturm analyzer or just read specs about the FM transmitter you have.
