Firefox 2 tab size

Post by daguuy » Sat Jan 06, 2007 2:22 pm

Whenever I have a bunch of tabs open (I use lots of tabs), They Don't squeeze smaller than around 100 pixels so I have to scroll through them if the tab I want is off the screen. I know there's a way to make their minimum size smaller to fit more on the screen because I did it on my old computer, but I can't find it. How do you change tab's minimum size?

Go to about:config and edit the browser.tabs.tabMinWidth preference

Does anyone know if there is a way to have more than one row of tabs? i.e. when you open more than 10 tabs, its make a new row and add all new tabs to that, then when you hit 20 tabs, new row, etc.

I use the extension Tab Mix Plus, and it can be configured to create two rows of tabs.
