You know about those little project boxes from radioshack that can hold circuit boards? Also if you recall, the NES carts are 75% empty. I have an idea to remove the circuitry of NES carts and put them in the boxes, connecting to a homemade cart hub. Then stick that on a portable and have extra games you can switch to. what do you think?

Sounds good in theory but good luck on all that soldering. Take a look at how many pins are on the edge of the NES game pcbs. Now multiply that number by * 5 or however many carts you want to make.
PS - Next time turn off the caps. 99% of internet users hate them, don't use them except when you really need to. Thanks

i'll probably use a dremel or x-acto knife to cut slits where the boards go
on a solderless bread board or something like that. I just wouldn't know how to wire them all to one slot. maybe a switch for each cart that separates that separates them. I don't really know.

That is a nice Idea But if you want to do somehting really special make your own car with a high/low switch
This way there are two games in a normal size cart (however, this requires programming knowledge)
Or you could have a bunch of cart connectors and that way you 5-in-one could be any 5-in-1
ie. You solder 5 cart connectors and have a switch, then all you have to do is gut the carts and place the CB in that!
This way you can replace the games you have beaten for the next week's venture...
