Ok, for the third time my PC is screwed up, and im wondering if it is posible to use a copy of Windows XP Home SP2 with a legal Name and code. I cant find my original re-install disk (then again, no-oe ever can) and im not buying XP again. So, can i do this. Do i need a certain build?

Should work, after all my A+ class did a massive install using one code.

Good luck, and hope Windows doesn't fail you so quick this next time.

Well that sounds nice. I would hope they send you a free Windows XP CD as the CD they usually give you isn't an install CD (called a restore CD and it's crap).

Dell gives you a full Install Cd because i've screwed over my HDD before and my old one worked fine. This can be locked now

Actually, i have another question (btw, i got my cds, and im up and running) I always see screenshots of this cool theme for Windows XP. It looks just like WinXP's default Blue but with a "Glassy" feel to it. I cant ever find it and i want it really bad. Anyone got it or know where i can get it? Thanks :D

That would be the "Energy Blue" from XP Media Center edition.

Here's an article about it:

I just copied the theme from my laptop, but I think this link has an installer for it. You don't need sketchy windows skin software or anything!
