When I get on the internet after any where from 15 minutes to an hour later i get this error:

My web broswer acts like i disconnected, but my computer is still has a connection. When I try to disconnect nothing happens.

I alread reformatted and reinstalled windows and it is still happening.

It is not junk! It is assorted goods with no current use.

"Generic Host Process" is what windows uses as a service to connect to the internet. I've had a few problems of just lossing a connection. I'd say if you have any thing like a Firewall (router) or a software version (zonealarm) check the settings on what it might be doing when it encounters "Generic Host".

Beyond that I can't tell you much. If you keep having trouble, switch to linux I guess.
