Beamer image size at short distance
Moderator:Moderators
I'm planning on buying a video projector cause I don't have the space to put a large lcd monitor in my room. The plan is to hang it in the back in my room so it projects on to a grey background hanging in front of my window (which is completely sun proof, not transparant in any way) but I don't know if the projected image will be big enough cause I've only got a distance of about 5-7 metres. The height is about 3 metres and the width of my room is about 4-5 metres. I would like the image to be kinda big cause a beamer is rather expensive. I would also sit in front of the image so the projector would have to be high enough not to make my shadow get caught on the image. I'm also not sure if this would work with a Nintendo Wii cause you have to put like these receptors next to your tv. Anyone have an idea of the image size?

It's just one receptor. <img src="http://wii.nintendo.com/images/wii_feature_img_3.png">
It would work fine.
