What do you want to know?

Do you have a technical question that doesn't really fit a specific console? Want some general info on electronics, hacking, making cookies, etc? Here's the place to ask! Go nuts.

What do you want to know?

Post by Skyone » Wed Aug 09, 2006 12:55 am

Hey guy and girls. As you may have noticed, I have a site based on electronics, namely for portable situations. This sites aim is mainly to help people like the ones on this forum with simple and complex problems. Skytroniks is a very graphical site, based on diagrams, as pictured below.

Right about now, you're thinking "advertising is against the rules". I know you are. But this is where you people come in.

I'm revamping Skytroniks, the layout, colors and most importantly, I'm going to whip up a diagram/article for all of your needs (whether it be a video, audio, power, pinout, etc. problem.)

The goal is also to make Skytroniks a huge wiki-like website that supplies the visitors with all the information need to complete such projects as portables. That means everything from power requirements to clock speed of every console.

Now I request of thee, to give me all your questions and concerns about anything that has to do with portables.

Short hand:
Now I request of thee, to give me all your questions and concerns about anything that has to do with portables.

Please PM me, IM me or Email me with any thoughts, suggestions or questions about portables so I can hopefully build up a large database of information. Submitting your questions will help newcomers and regulars alike with information and knowledge.

So send me the questions, I'll do my research (no matter how tough the question is) and whip it up into a fancy answer.

Pretty please and thanks ahead of time,
Skyler

Isn't that the same or based off the power circuit for the BlackBox? Oh and how much would it be to make one of those circuits (just the ICs)?

Are you talking about the diagram up top? If so, no, it's not for the BlackBox, but could be a substitute for the one the BlackBox is using, yes.

And the main part, PTH08080 is from TI, and can be sampled for free. :)

Come on guys, I need more requests/questions!

Put some of those overclocking mods that you're always talking about, especially DS (and Lite if you've done that one).

DDR pad mods would be nice as well, if there are any...

Hey CTF have you ever seen that one DDR pad that is just aluminum tape on the floor, then you put foil on the bottom of your shoes, and when you step on the tape, it completes the circuit? It's pretty cool looking
