I need help with converting videos for my psp

Well, I am trying to convert already converted flash files ( avi format) what's weird is I used both psp video 9 and g3p converter aand the psp still can't play them. how ever it can stil see the files because they are in mp4 format.

Ok so I have these avi files that were flash videos. I converted them into the psp's format. And they still don't work. Can anyone help me.

Can you play the 'avi' files on your PC? Can you still play the PSP encoded files on your PC?

What codec are the avi files? (right click on the file, click Properties, click 'Summary', then the 'Advanced >>' button (if it's showing), then read off what the 'Video Compression' is)
