Battery?????
Post

With a DVD player battery, still powering the portable dvd player, could I have a wire running from the battery powering my NESMobile and still power the DVD player? This question comes from the fact that I recently renewed my project, and if I can fix my DVD players not working backlight (I think a LED mod might help this) and I don't have a lot of money right now.

it'll work but you'll get lower battery life

Just as daguuy said, it will lower battery life, but work nonetheless.
Infact, you can charge the battery, use it on the DVD player, and on your NESMobile!
Keep in mind this only works with DVD batteries and some special other batteries.

Well, got the NES and the screen running on the same battery, only thing thats wrong now is that the backlights busted. Should that be an easy fix?

Backlight on the DVD screen? Just check for loose wire.

Well. Got inside the DVD player. Realized I have no earthly idea what a backlight looks like. Spent two hours getting all these tiny screws off.

Backlights are almost always implanted in the actual LCD. Make sure the PINK and WHITE wires (hot and cold, + and -) wires are going from the screen to the board, and are secure and tight.

LED Mod your DVD player. (I suspect this'll take a few more LEDs though)

Most likely, if you're not careful.
