There's been something i was thinking about. For the LED mod on my screen, I shortened the wires so they were just enough to reach the next LED.
Just wodnering if you can strip a middle section of a wire, so that instead of going through the effort of soldering 2 wires silmotaneously so they dont fall off, I could instead solder 1 wire thats stripped in the middle.

I think you should drop the "20 watt" part and just say "pencil-type" or something similar, because really anything between about 15 to 40 watts (or even higher for those who happen to have professional-grade soldering stations) will work for what we need. You don't want someone who already has a 30 watt pencil iron to go out and buy a 20 watt one just because you said that's what they need.vb_master wrote:Tools needed for this guide:
