Touch sensitive Super Nintendo

Post by stuntpenguin007 » Mon Apr 29, 2013 12:31 pm

I made a Super Nintendo that turns on with a tap of the finger.

I posted something about this a while back but now I have a lot more details on it. Here's the instructable I made: http://www.instructables.com/id/Touch-S ... -Nintendo/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you guys voted for my instructable in the instructables contest that would be awesome! I'm at a bit of a disadvantage because I submitted it with one day left :wink:

I'm not really sure where I'd even start without a microcontroller :roll:

I guess I could do something like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kfpSrwb5XEQ" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Then I'd need something to keep the relay in an on (high) state after the capacitive sensor is touched. Not sure what I'd use for that. A latch maybe? Or am I way off in even thinking a latch would be useful? I'm pretty uneducated in the digital electronics world :lol:
