I finally got time to do another project.

I have always wanted to combine an N64 and a Gamecube. But how to do it?
Well I had a GameBoy Player laying around ....... would it work ?

Image

Well let's rip it apart and see.

Image

Hmm looks like it might work.

Image

But we need to trim it up a bit.

Image

Now let's see if we can get some controller ports in there.

Now for the hard part , let's get that darn N64 in there ...........

So now I had to do some re-working.

1. Add Ram HeatSinks
2. Trim the N64 main board.
3. Fold the cart slot.
4. Trim and fold the expansion pak.
5. Re-wire the controller ports.
6. Wire power.
7. Wire audio/video

Image

Wow !!! I got it to fit. Now will it fit with an Everdrive 64 in there ????

YUP !!!!

Image

Now let's get those wires out somehow :

Image

1. Wire it up to the Gamecube power
2. Wire it up to the Gamecube Audio/Video
3. Add a switch to switch between the 2
4. Add a reset button
5. Add a power led.

FINISHED PRODUCT !!!!

Check out my video and tell me what you think

Now put the old GBA player inside the Gamecube and have 3 systems in one. since you don't need the Gamecube disc drive anymore should be enough room.
That's Hacking Awsome

Well I guess. But I don't really play the old Gameboy games.

Well it would be quite expensive.

Parts alone :
Gamecube --- $25
WiiKey Fusion -- $50
N64 -- $25
Expansion Pak - $15
Everdrive 64 -- $125
Gamecube Gameboy Player -- $20
Knight Rider Led -- $20
64gb sd card for WiiKey -- $50
8gb Sd card for Everdrive -- $15
Total --- $345

Then add labor. Hmm you're looking at around $650 minimum. Doubt it would be worth it to most people.
