I am well aware that cassette players in vehicles are becoming obsolete. I see the moving parts of the cassette adapter being the problem.
Re: Ipod(no touch screen) into cassette adapter
There'd be little issue with putting an iPod Shuffle into a cassette adapter, it'd fit the case with little problem. It is as thin, if not thinner than a cassette as well. All the other iPods I can think of would not have motherboards that would fit between the holes in the cassette, and being multi-layer boards, cannot be split apart to be relocated around them.

MP3 players in cassette formfactor/interface used to be made, but I haven't seen any updated versions. The old versions can handle maybe 1 Gigabyte of storage, so a more modern take would be good.Cojiro wrote:don't they already have these

What about them? We're talking about a MP3 player inside a cassette, at least I think that's what Frostitute meant.Cojiro wrote:THESE??

Yeah, have you ever had one of those things, there is very little internal electronics inside that cassette-shapped piece of plastic, a small enough mp3 player could fit in one.
