DIY Tablet

This idea has probably been used to death, but I would like to see someone build a decent DIY tablet PC for as low a cost as possible.

requirements:
touch screen
>/= 1 GHz processor
>/= 1GB ram
usb port and/or card reader
wifi

Go for it! With those specs, you could do it with a netbook.

They make decent touch screen kits for netbooks, but I don't know how much they cost.

saw one for a 10.4 inch netbook at my swapmeat for about 35$ Too bad I am broke otherwise this would be what I would do to it. I think there are a few programs for multi touch screens, there is Cube-it and Bump-top so fare they are the only ones I know about.
