MDF, eh? I assume you've sealed it properly?
I like how you did the joysticks. Bigger holes means you can push them up through further which also means potentially more room for stuff in the case. You might not be the first to do it that way, but just the first I've actually noticed.
Very nicely done portable in general.

Yeah, it's pretty common. The depth varies from portable to portable. Some people will basically have the board underneath glued to the inside of the case, so the analog stick is basically outside the portable.Kyosho wrote:

Glad to see your auction is going well so far. By the way, would you mind pointing out which particular blue batteries you're referring to on ebay? Assuming there are duplicates on there, I mean. It'd be good to know what to avoid, as I'm in the market to buy some myself.techknott wrote:It did have some 4000mah li-ion batteries in, but ive just taken them out because they were crap(DO NOT buy blue batteries off ebay).

With batteries it would have sold for $800 or more.
No batteries = Not really a portable.
And most people that buy it have no idea how to add batteries.

I've always thought the emphasis people put on the batteries was really dumb. Taking the portable outside you've got glare. Car rides, you've got headaches from looking down too much. And planes? I'd fall asleep before I even touched the PSP in my backpack. I've never played a video game where there wasn't an outlet. Just my opinion though.hailrazer wrote:Tchay wrote:

I can see your point. But 100 million people who bought GameBoys , GameGears, Psp, etc would disagree.Tchay wrote:

Very true. And I suppose they are the buyers too. I'll have to keep my silly ideologies to myselfhailrazer wrote:I can see your point. But 100 million people who bought GameBoys , GameGears, Psp, etc would disagree.Tchay wrote:
