Oh looks, nows I's haves a Vac-forms tables toos! [/Squizgar]
Not bad for my first time ever vacuum forming, I'd say! The plastic I used is the same stuff I have for sale in my Trading Post thread here:

Next time I will use a heat gun to get the fine little details around the bottom of the buck. My entry for the contest is going to be sweet!

Wha-? Vacuum-forming?! People are putting effort into their contest portables?
Looks like you built that pretty solidly. I like it.

ZN-40 is just fine for now.
UNLESS I get the N64 down to sixtyfree lite-R size. THEN I'll vaccuum form.
Cheers,

Your 9th (or whichever one was clear with portrait controls) N64 looked pretty spiffy, and your 2nd GameCube portable.

Your vacuum table looks nicer than mine, although its the results that matter. You can get just as nice a result from a pretty table or a crap looking table after all!
Nice to see others are making vacuum forming tables now, they are simple to make after all (as I covered in my guide a few months back).
Good!

I'm actually very pleased with the results! Granted, there are a few little things that I will do next time I form something such as cutting the plastic a little bit bigger so it doesn't slip out of the holding frame and reduce suction. Also, using a heatgun for a few "spot-healing" detailing will do wonders.
I will be making a wood mold for my contest entry. Just gotta get all my measurements and design finalized.
