NESp Site Moving

Post by Tighe » Thu May 28, 2009 9:50 pm

Hi Everyone,

I don't know if anyone cares anymore but IGN's hosting of my site will end in August 2009 as they are getting out of the hosting business.

I have already copied the NESp site to my own domain http://nesp.tighelory.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and as of today have set http://nestable.classicgaming.gamespy.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to 301 redirect to the new domain.

This redirect will most likely stop in August when they stop hosting. So if you have any bookmarks or links please note to update them to the new location.

New Domain:
http://nesp.tighelory.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks,
Tighe

Noted. Thank you.

PS: You and Ben are to blame for getting me interested in modding many many years ago. :) Good to see you're still around!

Added a search too

Post by Tighe » Fri May 29, 2009 7:41 pm

While in the process of moving the site I also added google site search. But I didn't just have it search my site -- I made a search of following sites:

http://www.modded-by-bacteria.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://moddedbybacteria.wordpress.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://kevtris.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://nesdev.parodius.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://nestable.classicgaming.gamespy.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; (this one is temporary until google switches to my new domain)
http://forums.benheck.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://nesp.tighelory.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.tighelory.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://nespblog.tighelory.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.videogameobsession.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.benheck.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://portablesofdoom.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.longhornengineer.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.stupidfingers.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/joedog86" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/tigheklory" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/benheckdotcom" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/vomitsaw" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
http://www.youtube.com/TheLonghornEngineer" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It really is quite cool because brings together a bunch of portablizer sites. If anyone knows other useful sites that should be added please let me know!

You can access the search on http://nesp.tighelory.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks,
Tighe

Your site is the reason I found Benheck in the first place around late 2006 and early 2007. I found your site while searching Google on How to make a DIY TV. And after all these years, I still haven't made a portable yet :lol:

Anyways, You may even have or remember a old email from me. Does the idea for a Socrates Portable from some random person with super bad grammar ring any bells from years ago? And if you have the email still. Did it have a picture with the email?

Who knows if the Namco Portable will ever become a reality? :P

Yes it remember Socrates Portable -- what was your e-mail address at the time? I had a computer failure a long time ago but it is possible that I still have it.

:( I was hoping I included the concept drawing scan I did. I've lost both the drawing and the digital copy years ago.
