Figured out this morning that the screen wavyness and the the staticy audio was not due to low battery, but was due to the retro duo not liking 7.2v. I stepped it down to 5.5v via PTH08000 and all is well.

Imagine how nice it might have looked if you spent time making it look nice, and used a bigger screen and worked on the case more. It ain't a race!!
