Not bad at all! That's some pretty decent time. You've definitely got something to be very proud of.
This post brought to you by David Duchovny's glorious nipples.

With a better camera comes better pictures. I just put some new pictures up on the first post of the Dream Tablet running Power Stone. You can actually see the screen this time.

Awesome job man. The first successful tray-loading gd-rom drive afaik!
I just saw you thanked me on your blog, so I want to thank you for doing so
I must admit your mod really rocks man ... So big screen, yet so portable!

That's great that I made hack-a-day and gizmodo! It was nice to see that people had actually done more than just watch my video to since some information they had and some of the comments there were said weren't just in my video! I did see some people who thought that my tablet was just a pc running an emulator because of the Dell logo when it boots up. But others told them it was just the monitor coming on. I have come across only one real issue with it so far which is for games that do not support the VGA mode you can only play if you have it connected to your TV. I didn't even think of this when I was making it. Which is unfortunate but I guess not a huge deal.
Edit- Just noticed that it made engadget as well.

Very nice job man. Very elegant. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the comments everyone! I head back to college in a week so I will try to keep making stuff but things will probably slow down a bit. I'm in contact with another member though trying to see if we can make an improved/second revision of the GD-Drive so we will see how things turn out.

Wow that's amazing! I can't believe that it has made it that far. And I'm pretty surprised that engadget was nice about it. I pleased to see that people enjoy it and are this interested in it. I actually had so many views on my blog that it used up my 25GB bandwidth usage in these past 3 days. They emailed me this morning saying that i only had 5GB left and then by around 5-5:30 I got another one saying that I exceeded my bandwidth usage so now I have to upload my pictures elsewhere with unlimited bandwidth and change all the links.

Your a beast for putting the gdrom on the actual tray of the cdrom drive. Wouldn't have thought of using that mechanism at all. Great job man!
