you don't know me. I have literally gone dumpster diving before. And I mean LITERALLY. I hopped in and dug lol. It wasn't a food dumpster. It was just the end of the school year and everybody threw out thier stuff (good binders, a few hoodies, and I even found a set of car keys!). But that dumpster dive was only once. But every garbage night I check all the local cans to look for treasure.

There's this one guy that lives down the street from my grandmother that I can always get (usually gutted except for the motherboard) computers from. I bought a ton of P3s, RAM, and small hard drives to go with them; I'm a little short on PSUs, though.

The guys at the school robotics club call me the dumpster diver, because I scavenge parts from the junk we have. Mostly we only take the wire and motors, but I take EVERYTHING- caps, buttons, LEDs, connectors, even resistors sometimes. Oh and voltage regulators. I love voltage regulators.

does this work with third party controllers, the 4 player spliter, the power tap, or the snes advantage?
Sometimes, life isn't fair, but you just have to work around it.

Excellent

I have not tired it yet, but I am certain they work. If they wouldn't be able t work on this, they wouldn't be able to work on an snes either. I will try with retro duo controllers since they are the only third party I have.

Holy crap. I was just on Stupidfingers and noticed that vomitsaw did the same thing. And it has the same name. Just letting you all know I did not steal his idea for the s2nes controller adapter. Maybe he took the idea from me. hmmmm.

Wait, what? How did I miss this?

And awesome job by the way!

themadhacker wrote:Thanks. Maybe I sould sart selling these. Although if I do, I certainly won't be using a sega power adapter. that would look a bit cheap (which I most definitely am).
I really think you should! Any generic project box from RadioShack or anywhere would work great. It would be a relatively easy (and fun) way to make a bit of cash.

It wasn't much of a contest. the deadline kept getting pushed back, nd Eurddrue and I were the only entries.

I think you are right. I don't know where to sell them, though. They are so easy to make that nobody here will buy them, ebay likes to rape sellers of their profits, and other than that, I don';t know.
