The longest project of my life

Post by evilteddy » Sat Apr 17, 2010 6:45 am

Finally I have finished what was without doubt the longest project of my life. Clocking in at one and a half years (of which only two consisted of working) it has finally been finished to my satisfaction. It will have glass eventually to protect it from spillage but at the moment I'm quite happy with it. Its features include what you would expect.

It emulates many systems up to N64 and can function as a jukebox through a rather good looking frontend called MALA. The software works pretty well and so far I've gotten up to level 16 in Pacman. Lots of fun.

Here are some pics:

Its been real fun.

A bigger screen would be nice, but otherwise that looks amazing for a small home arcade system!!!

Excellent job, sir. I miss the good ol' days of the arcades. It looks like a lot of fun :).

I never thought I'd see it finished. Good work.
