I was looking for something to use as a case for cheap by looking on a goodwill website (haha). I came across a fairly large controller and it says its an InterAct Arcade controller. I was wondering if this controller would work well as a case for a gamecube portable that I am wanting to make. Also which size screen do you think would fit best? 3.5"? 5"?
This is what the controller looks like:

Re: Will this work as a case?
I don't know...I would spring for a bigger case if I were you; that controller might be too small. I'm currently using a lazerdoodle (which is a pretty large case) for my portable Gamecube, and space is really tight. Remember, it's better to have more space than you need rather than less. However, if you plan on trimming your portable, it may fit. Also, a 5" screen would be best for your portable. 3.5" screens work well for older consoles, but the Gamecube has a lot of details on the screen which may appear too small on a 3.5"
Hope this helps!

sorry, if im late but...
personaly i think a case should be 1.5 to 2 in high (thick)
but thats all personal opinion. i think it would make it easier to fit controller board a screen board and a console board w/heat sinks.
