Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Painting DS

Hey guys;

I have an original DS which needs a paintjob bad. Its petty rough.

Its the red and silver one.

I'm going to use a a flat black spray paint, and then use some clearcoat over it.

Now; I need some help.

1) How many coats of paint should I do?
2) Should I lightly sand the DS first?
3) I have all the tools to take a DS apart, but do to the simple design; would I be able to spray paint it without taking it apart? Or would this be really risky?
4) How far away should I be when spraying?

Yo just buy a replacement case and you can make it look limited edition.

Already painted.

I applied a clearcoat around 24 hours ago. Is it safe to do another coat of the clearcoat now? or should I wait the "5 days" it says on the can? (It says wait 5 days OR 1 hour) :S
