Would this make suitable case material?

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Would this make suitable case material?

Post by metalcookie » Mon May 24, 2010 7:23 pm

As many of you may know, I tried making a portable, but it failed utterly because I designed it without much thought in a case

Anyways, I'm thinking about doing an snes portable, and wanted to know if this would be a suitable case material:

If I'm going to try again at portablizing, I want to do it right.

Word of advice. On your first one buy from Polycase. It's what everyone does for their first one. It's just easier.

Lol I completely forgot about polycase. I got my zn-40 case there. I'm not looking for a pre-built case, though. I just want a sheet of plastic to build my own. I'd do vacuum forming, but I think I'll keep it simple, like I should have done in the beginning...

I think I'm going to just go with a simple design with sheet plastic. I don't really like pre-built cases because sometimes they aren't exactly the way you want them.
