Clay molding

Yes it is nice to be able to put your projects INSIDE something isn't it? You know, to hold everything together so it doesn't flop around? Discuss the techniques here!

Clay molding

Post by thewise1 » Wed Dec 16, 2009 8:08 pm

I'm trying to figure out a nice way to vacuum form a case. Basically out of clay, it mostly worked last time, but making it by hand is tough. I was wondering what kind of home clay I would be able to use to keep molding and smoothing until it's close to perfect and still cure over a couple days. Maybe like bacterias modeling clay.

Hmm, I'd have to ask my dad about this. He's a ceramicist.
